Ghost Light Theatricals is proud to announce the Pacific Northwest Premiere of a 2014 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize - The (Curious Case of the) Watson Intelligence by Madeleine George. This witty and intelligent show plays January 13th through February 4th in the Ballard Underground. Technology old and new collide in this fresh look at love and artificial intelligence.

Ghost Light’s 14th season explores the expendable and invaluable persona that is Watson. Throughout time we have seen famous Watsons winning Jeopardy, solving mysteries and helping to invent the telephone. Why is he the perennial sidekick? Can he ever transcend and become the hero? What is the essential core of the Watson archetype?

Both a love story and a mystery, this show follows 4 different Watsons, throughout history: a Victorian doctor and amateur detective, an inventor’s assistant, a supercomputer and a member of the Geek Squad who is just here to help. Each is played by one actor - a tour de  force performance that will have everyone buzzing.
